No Black Friday for Me

I had actually contemplated going out in the wee hours of the morning to shop at some of the Black
Friday Sales.  But my good old common sense came into play and I slept.  I am grateful for  that.  Instead I spent the day making cookies and working on gourds.  Glorious Gourds.  Oh, and I managed to squeeze
in giving Nancy, my bull terrier mix, a bath.  She loved it.  I am going to attach to this post some more pictures of some of my gourds.  Enjoy.

First Time

This is my first personal blog ever.  I am a bit intimidated but feel confident that I will overcome this feeling.  I hadn't really intended to start a blog, but the opportunity presented itself and I thought "why not?"  My son, Sam, actually suggested I start a blog to promote my Gourd Art.  So, here I am, sort of a "happy accident".  I initially was responding to my friend, Lisette, who is in Cambodia on a traveling medical mission.  In order to post on her blog I needed to sign in.....and there you have it.  Just trying to go with the flow.

Since this is all new to me I figure I will just stumble along and learn as I go.  Perhaps I will post some
pictures of my work in the near future.  Have to get all the wrinkles ironed out.  That's it.

Hello!
